Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt

There are two types of Fro-Yo lovers, those who love the "tangy-sour" variant and those who like frozen yogurt as substitute for their ice cream fix. Recently spotted: Golden Spoon frozen yogurt in Magallanes. Golden Spoon is actually a brand which started in Southern California and one of the "pioneers" of the fro-yo craze in the States. I love that compared to other fro-yo places, they have several different flavors to choose from. They even have "cake batter" flavor for those cookie-dough ice cream lovers. Got that one and decided to top it off with rainbow caps. My take on this dessert, it really tastes like soft-served ice cream! You're certain to have an "i-can't-believe-its-not-ice cream" moment. Even saw a customer taking home a pint of their vanilla flavor, and I can just imagine using this as substitute for ice cream in apple pie a la mode or sundaes. Whats more, the mini cup only has 100 calories per serving! As for those who like the original, they have the tangy variant which is a bit too sour for my taste buds. I usually like the original flavor of other establishments, but this one is just too sour though creamy in texture. For those looking for an alternative to ice cream without sacrificing taste and texture, this is as good as it gets.
